Last Day for refunds for dropped classes/wrong books issued is

  • You must contact the bookstore via email at trijsu@flipthatbook.com to cancel any orders. Cancellations must be done within 3 hours of your order. After this time no cancellations can be done online, however, you may come in to our physical location to discuss your issue.
  • If issued the wrong book you have one week from the first day of classes to come in with your syllabus to receive the correct book if we have it in stock or a full refund. Except summer and intercession courses, this is only a three day policy
  • For dropped classes you have one week from the first day of classes to come in with an official transcript or drop slip from the university to receive a full refund.
  • Once the first week of school has ended we offer students to put your book back on the shelf and try to rent it out for you.  If this happens during the current semester you will receive a full refund.
  • You may also switch out any book at any time after the first week for a different book that we have in stock. However, you must pay the difference if the new book is more than the original.  If the book is less, no refunded will be issued.

We would like to first start by saying a BIG thank you for the many loyal years that you have come to our Jackson location to rent/buy your textbooks. We started our business to help you guys with the cost of textbooks and we have tried our hardest however, unfortunately, we will not be reopening our Jackson location due the economic changes in the textbook industry.

We hope that you have a prosperous semester and we wish you luck on your future college endeavors! If you have any textbooks from the Fall semester still out they must be returned to our store via the Dropbox. Please make sure to put your name and PHONE number in the front cover of each book and put your books in a bag and slip them through the wall to ensure proper credit to your account. REFUND POLICY:

Refunds are only given for dropped classes with proof or wrong books issued for the first three days of summer school and the first five days of spring/fall semesters.  Refund will NOT be given for books on backorder, so please be certain when these books are ordered that you do in fact need them.

For inventory purposes: If it shows "In stock" next to the price the book is here within our store. If it shows only a price a box will appear when you choose this and will explain our "Out of Stock" process.  Please be very careful when choosing these books.  Please email us if you have any questions.

 

We now have a waiting list if you prefer not to prepay for a book.  When you see a book that is "Available to Order" click the box as if you are purchasing it and ask your cashier once you are about to pay to be put on the waiting list for that particular book.  This can only be done in the store!! Once the book becomes available you will receive an email stating that there is inventory in our store.
